Many young people today worship their smart phone. Every big city could be mistaken for being exactly the same, thousands of people walking around with their hand out in front of them looking at the screen on their phone. Just like some zombie Movie they stagger through malls and high streets.
The smart phone is the latest 'must have' accessory for the 21st century and for all attention craving teenagers. Who cares about animals being tortured in slaughter houses or starving babies in Africa when you can be miss popular with your new smart phone?
The dangers to the human body by these so called 'smart phones' are not yet fully known or fully understood. However, the rising rate of young people with brain tumors has given rise to some serious concerns from health professionals.
I have a mobile phone, but I use it rarely, and only use it to talk to family and friends when I need to. I never use it for more than a minute at a time, and it only cost me £7. I fail to see why a teenager would need a £700 phone. I think we need to teach our young people the meaning of real value and not some artificial value that comes with an expensive mobile phone.
